Always Keep the Faith

Earlier today, I was really bored. The first thing I do everyday, computer wise, is check my twitter. That thing explodes when it’s been untouched for too long. I follow a few DBSK twitters, but my most favorite one is @TVXQquotes. The admins are really nice and fun and you can just tell that they and all their followers are Cassies to the core, so I feel really comfortable answering their trivia questions and commenting on their quotes.

Now, for the most part, I can’t read Korean. I mean, I can read it, because I have Hangul down pat, but other than that, I don’t really even know the basics. So, @mjjeje (the lovely Jaejoong himself~) starts posting a series of tweets on getting up early and doing their make-up and taking care of themselves (there was even a picture of Oppa #3, Kim Hyun Joong~). They were really touching. Excuse me for a moment, though, because these aren’t my translations. I found them here. And all credit goes to:

It was three main posts. I didn’t bother trying to read the third one because I assumed someone would translate them soon and I wanted to enjoy them. Sure enough, our dear friends @TVXQquotes started posting translations. I still didn’t get it at first, but eventually, I completely understood. I couldn’t cry because I was at work, but I know I’m going to while I finish writing this. Allow me to start at the beginning of @mjjeje’s tweets:

@mjjeje: Junsu is always the first among the members to wake up. Among the tired members, the first to do his hair, make up and the first to do his shoot. He has been like this for 8 years. Junsu’s sincerity is what brought us here and I’ve come to emulate Junsu as a colleague and friend. There are a lot of lifelong lessons to be learned from Junsu.

@mjjeje: Yoochun who is always impartial. He is always in the middle watching over everyone. That’s why the members do not have such thoughts that we’re alone. During difficult times, he shares his free spirit with everyone and makes us feel secure. Junsu and Yoochun who makes me think that..I must try harder..you both are greedy uhuhut!

And then came the kicker:

@mjjeje: I don’t know if I can say this but..I miss Yunho and Changmin as well..They are our members no matter what other people say and they are the guys who know it best more than anyone else..though I’m not sure whether I’m being pointlessly silly but.. I miss them after a long time.

Less to the point of this post, but another turn of events, is Junsu (@0101xiahtic), who wrote back:

What really brings me to tears is Jaejoong’s final response. You all know how lately, in interviews, he’s been asking to be introduced to girls? Kekeke. Look what he says on that matter:

@mjjeje: I think it’s alright even if hyung doesn’t have a girlfriend now ^^ I felt this yesterday when we filmed together for the first time in ages, with you guys around there’s nothing I lack^^ㅎ You’re such a source of strength Junsu-yah^^ We’ll be together forever, thank you for being by my side

Guys, I haven’t been part of the Cassie family for very long. Actually, compared to most of us, I’m very relatively new. TVXQ introduced me to kpop at the beginning of the lawsuit, and it took me until the beginning of 2010 to make that final realization:

TVXQ isn’t together anymore.

But just because I’m a little fledgeling Cassie doesn’t mean I haven’t felt the pain the rest of us are feeling. I watch old videos and in the middle of laughing, I’ll remember, “Oh yeah. This is old.” Or I’ll see Yunho and Changmin perform Rising Sun and start crying because I want them to be altogether. I’ve seen so many JYJ haters and a lot of HoMin haters, I’m seeing people in our same fandom start fighting over which side was right or wrong in this, but I have one thing to say to that, and it’s this:

Always keep the faith.

Because it’s true, right? Fate brought those five together. Fate brought them to us. I don’t mean to get all mushy, but it’s true. TVXQs existence saved my life, and because I’m alive I’ve been able to help out a ton of other people who were hurting. Let’s go back and ammend that first statement.

TVXQ isn’t together ~~anymore~~ right now.

We’ve all seen it multiple times. On Jaejoong’s twitter profile, where he says:

That’s right. JYJ from. T. V. X. Q.

And if you guys can remember, it wasn’t even a month ago when Jaejoong had our motto ~~the phrase tattooed on him and Yoochun~~ on his page as well:

Right there.

I’m not going to lie, guys, it’s going to be hard. Heck, we see people spiting JYJ no matter what move they make. But, proven so much more by what happened today, like Micky says, I believe that if we keep praying, and we don’t forget, we can keep the faith eternally.

I want to get the word out that Cassiopeia is by no means a dying fan club. We’re all still here, and we’re all still fighting hard.
